I first download the Gallant Fx trading software and installed it in my computer without any complication whatsoever. So setting up the account was not cumbersome, and their tutorials helped a lot in understanding the platform, as it was my first experience with the high quality meta trader. Besides I could do the usual things and much more with gallant fx. For example, I could do hedging, and the charting was top class. Importantly I could run my EA’s comfortably with the platform, and not only that, I got a free virtual private server, when I opened a forex trader account with them. I guess the latter is what facilitated easy upload of my EA to run parallel with the gallant fx platform. I started with $ 100 account, got spreads up to 2 pips, and a maximum leverage of 400:1. What’s probably best with gallant fx is the EUR/USD spreads which is just 0.3 pips. And this applies to both the micro and standard accounts. My EA doesn't seem to work with gallant especially when conditions are moving fast.Otherwise it suits my style. Hedging is possible so that's plus for me.Besides MT4 is functionally very efficient with very good tutorials as well.But there may be a problem with spreads when you trade outside peak trading hours.
